Excellent point about feeling like it’s not your responsibility to help out bc the government has taken that role upon itself and forced everyone to support it financially.

Saved a lot of time hunting for the reason, thanks! Now just to find a solution… it seems that PHP doesn’t even retrieve the variables in $_POST. Time for manual processing?

@Rob_mills You are right, some browsers do allow the rejection of only 3rd party cookies, or rather if your content is loaded from a domain that is not the root of the document, then it rejects sending cookies along. This would be the case for tracking cookies, but I am not sure it’s the case for facebook or openid. the fact that our government sees this data as fair game, and secondly that they are querying this data without the user’s knowledge is unacceptable to me.

right now Mozilla and Google are join in on the band wagon and opting for a do not track header to be sent from the browser, which they plan to respect.

While I certainly can appreciate your desire to reduce all this tracking I don’t see that completely disabling cookies as the solution.

However, I’m wondering if there’s a way extensions could be created that when enabled would look for special cookie names in the response and when found make sure they’re added to the collection with the httponly property preventing them from being read by javascript.

Perhaps there’s other ways too to simply prevent this code from sending that information?

I’d like to see an IPhone/Android app that is just “What do I look like to a TSA Agent”. All it would need to do have a camera, apply a filter with some edge detection and add a penis on everyone.

I’d build an army of naked clones to bludgeon the TSA and HLS officials that approved these new ludicrous policies beyond recognition using only their fleshy fun bits the government is so fond of touching and photographing these days.

I am also starting to think that as the economy moves away from production and into a creative economy, we will need to move away from pay schedules based on time, and move to a substitutive one spreads out creative rewards. As a futurist I believe that we will reward, inspiration, and perspiration more evenly.

The post shows a strong consideration for the lasting social impact of our experience as well as the struggle between optimal and artistic qualities.

What I still did not understand about the Government plan is this segment about pre-existing conditions… Is there any vocabulary in this bill about wether or not there is a limitation on what insurance companies can demand if you have a pre-existing ailment?

you should try eating a raw diet. it really improved my outlook on life and general feeling of well-being.

and probably not much more inconvenient than calorie restriction.
